This saturday we are bangin’ trough your speakers with the 010 Bookings Special, every two months we have the best artists from our partner 010 Bookings.

Starting at 19h PM CET with Stefan Vilijn:

Stefan Vilijn is technically blessed and very skilled as a DJ/producer. At the moment he is very actively involved with several big names from the Dutch and International House-scene. Well known artists such as: DJ Disciple, Boris Rush, Prok & Fitch, Chris Moody, Josh the Funk 1, these are just a few of the names that Stefan Vilijn has worked with.

Over the years his sound has strongly evolved and one could even say that he has created his own sound. Stefan Vilijn is a DJ with a bright future ahead of him and he has the plans to enforce that future perspective. He considers his hit single ” Jasmin Garden” to be a good way to start. (on the road to succes)

At 20h PM CET we bring you DJ Dyna:

When it comes to eclectic, Dyna is the wizard behind the wheels of plastic! He’s an always happy appearance in the dance scene, loaded with energy. When unleased upon a DJ booth, Dyna rocks the decks with a unique blend of latin/electro/eclectic sounds.

A typical set of Dyna will consist of mostly house, combined in true eclectic style with hiphop and dancehall classics and even way back to the sounds of swingbeat. The result is a whole lot of happy ladies on the dance floor and the guys bouncing to the grooves!

Tough being in the music game for half a decade, 2009 has been the year Dyna exploded in the scene. With gigs from the Caribbean island of Aruba, throughout the different party havens surrounding the Mediterranean Sea, to his home country Surinam and of course the biggest clubs in Holland.

At 21h PM CET we have “The King of Bootlegs” Funk D:

Tough a new face in the scene, Funk D has been around for years behind the scenes. With a sound a little less eclectic than Dyna and a bit deeper than Vato Gonzalez – he fulfills a unique niche in the scene with DJ set made almost exclusively out of bootlegs and productions of his own ‘Miami Records’ label. Funk D can be found usually bouncing around like a madman behind the decks and brings the vibe in an uncompromising and straight foreward manner. Mixing fast en aqurate like the rest of the 010Bookings crew.

His style varies from the typical ‘Dirty House’ records to a deeper and more international sounds. His records recieve absolute massive DJ support trough out the world (Fedde Le Grand, Roger Sanchez, Chuckie, Quintino, Jean & many more) – the 22 year old production genious keeps on making club bangers in a fashion that can hardly be captured by words, the only words suiting would be ‘Energy’, ‘Hype’ and ‘Bassline’.

 

Last but not least, the man you all know: Kenneth G

Energetic, spontaneous, up beat and talented are just a few words to describe Kenneth G. He’s got a very distinct, energetic electronic sound, heavily influenced by other music genres.

Kenneth G’s big breakthrough came in 2006 when he caught Ravuth Ty’s attention because of his skills, energy and the talent to make the crowd go wild. He got signed on the Nope is Dope concept. This gave a huge boost to Kenneth G’s popularity and he was able to stand his ground against some of Holland’s finest DJ’s.

Kenneth G played in all the important Dutch clubs and important festivals in the Netherlands as Extrema Outdoor, Pleasure Island, Solar Festival and Latin Village festival. He also played in countries like Spain, Greece, Bulgaria, Turkey, Belgium, Germany and the Dutch Antilles.

And when looking back has become pointless, all he can do is look forward, wondering what the future might have in store for him and wondering what he has in store for the future. It’s time for some big changes and it starts with his own label and event Planet G. Ready to rock the Dutch and international dance-scene.
