Afrojack hits Billboard Hot 100 number 1

Amsterdam, June 29, 2011 – Today, Afrojack reached a new peak in his career. ‘Give Me Everything’ by Pitbull Feat. Ne-Yo, Afrojack & Nayer, which he produced and co-wrote reaches the Nr. 1 spot in the Billboard Hot 100 which will be published the 30th of June.

‘Give Me Everything’ has been one of the best selling and most played releases in the World over the last couple of weeks, but until today, pole position in the USA was not reached.

Afrojack, who is currently touring in the USA, was extremely happy with the news. By coincidence, tonight he is performing in club LIV in Miami, Pitbull’s hometown. Without a doubt, LIV will be on fire tonight! Afrojack already sent out a tweet saying “Imma bring the champagne”.

Afrojack has known considerable chart success in the USA. Last week’s Billboard Hot 100 had no less than 4 songs in which Afrojack played a part. His single ‘Take Over Control’ featuring Eva Simons entered at 96, climbing to nr.89 this week. Next to ‘Give Me Everything’ and ‘Take Over Control’, Afrojack also co-produced Chris Brown’s ‘Look At Me Now’ and Beyonce’s ‘Girls’.

2011 is a great year for Afrojack. Earlier this year he won a Grammy for his Remix of Madonna’s ‘Revolver’, which he created alongside his friend David Guetta and he also won 2 IDMA Awards.

Without a doubt Afrojack is quickly becoming one of the most successful DJ’s and producers in the world.
