When someone as amazing as Donna Summer passes away, musicians pay tribute the best way that can – through music. Endless amounts of these dedicated tracks stack up and I very rarely give them all a listen, however when someone like Boys Noize makes a tribute I stop, listen and download.

This is a track he released in 2006 under an alias some of you may be familiar with, 909D1SCO but here it is freshly remastered and edited AND free for your aural pleasure.

It has an air of nostalgia, quite obviously and is the kind of track you can imagine dancing around in a dark room to with your arms spread out at 7am when only the living dead surround you and everyone appreciates the slight inflections, the continuous beat and the sunrise as much as you are.
