Club Glow Washington is starting a new series on YouTube called “Ask the DJ”. A new series that’ll come out whenever they get enough material, “Ask the DJ” is exactly what the title says: We ask a bunch of artists the same question and get to see what they’re all about.
This first installment showcases the headphone choice of a variety of house, techno and trance artists including Gareth Emery, Pierce Fulton, EDX, Manufactured Superstars and more.
What Headphones Are You Using?
Let’s check it out and see what the answers are… I’m pretty sure you can almost guess the results 
The question of which headphones are best is one that will be asked for as long as DJs need to wear them (Steve Angello, you are exempt). The IDMAs at WMC include ‘Best Headphone’ category. Here are the previous winners:
- 2012: Pioneer – HDJ-2000
- 2011: Pioneer – HDJ 2000
- 2010: Pioneer – HDJ 2000
But this a poll voted on mostly by fans. Artists more than likely don’t have time to vote (trust us, we know). As you can tell by their answers, only Blake Jarrell and George Acosta are using Pioneers.
