Calling all DJs and producers! EclecticRadio is raising the stakes for the 2nd time with a remix contest by strangers from a house minded paradise. SONY singer and songwriter, James Stefano and Strangers in Paradise Recordings (SIPREC) team up to give music fans a chance to do something special this time. We will drop 4 vocals of James Stefano and it’s up to you how to use it! We’ve got no originals, that’s the fun this time. So it is even possible to choose one of the submissions as the original … LESS RULES … MORE VOCALS … & MORE FUN!

Are you the Producer of the future? … Then we’re looking for you to be part of the 2nd edition of the James Stefano Remix Contest. We are looking for the ultimate producer for an official release on SIPREC, the winners will get also the chance to release their own track on all the biggest download portals like Beatport, iTunes, Spotify, Dance-Tunes, Juno and the list goes on and on … As you can read your release will be covered digitally worldwide.

Winners chosen will receive exclusive SIPREC merchandise along with being released on on their label as an official remixer and with their own release. You better act fast if you want to turn on the judges, as submissions open Thursday September 21st 2012 and close Friday October 19th 2012. Ten selected remixers will be announced on a special live broadcastshow show hosted by Matt Labour and James Stefano! Four (4) final winners will be announced on a date to be confirmed later in October 2012.

‘Strangers in Paradise’ is a fresh new independent record label, dedicated to bring quality electronic dance music. SIPREC’s aim is to support and market all those new passionate, talented producers and established artists in the world of dance music. Since their launch established artists like Ron Carroll, Patrick Chappell, Carita La Nina already delivered massive releases and remixes to probably of the fastest growing dance-label in the Electronic Dance scene at this moment with several sub-labels providing the needs of every house lover. Even a surprising release of a multi-million records selling artist will be released this year on what seems to be strange to some others!

James Stefano’s debut EP, which SIPREC distributed for free has been downloaded more than 10.000. His EP contains original tracks and he even gives you his bootleg-versions of Tiesto & Hardwell’s ZERO76 and Basto’s “Again and Again”. Last but not least an incredible collaboration with 2 brothers on the 4th floor frontman D-Rock on a remake of Eurythmics “Sweet Dreams”.

Strangers in paradise (SIPREC) Rules & Conditions:

1. You can only submit one (1) track. That means you only can choose 1 out of 4 vocals. The titles of the track are final. And don’t forget to upload the right artwork with the right song you have remixed.
2. The prize draw for Remixes will be run from Thursday September 21^st 2012 and Friday October 19^th2012. The competition closes at midnight on Friday October 19^th2012.
3. All entries must be received by midnight on the stipulated closing date. Those not received by the deadline will be invalid to enter. No responsibility can be accepted for entries not received due to technical or other delivery difficulties.
4. The remix needs to be uploaded via Youtube with the artwork provided via our download-package. The youtube-link of the remix needs to be emailed to info@siprec.com / siprecordings@gmail.com, along with the remixer’s complete information. (Full name, Address, Country and Age)’
5. All winners will be selected after the closing date at the discretion of SIPREC, whose decision is final. The winners will be notified by email; All parts made available to download, and all parts downloaded remain the property of SIPREC.
6. SIPREC’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
7. The winner names may be published on EclecticRadio.nl and Siprec.com after the closing date of the competition.
8. SIPREC and EclecticRadio reserve the right to cancel or amend the terms of this competition at anytime without prior notice.
9. Prize is subject to final selection. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, SIPREC retains the right to offer an alternative prize.
