Calling all DJs and producers!

EclecticRadio is raising the stakes with a remix contest by strangers from a house minded paradise. SONY singer and songwriter James Stefano and Producer/DJ Maroy along with Strangers in Paradise Recordings (SIPREC) team up to give music fans a chance to remix James Stefano’s upcoming single “She Rocks”!

We are looking for the ultimate remixer for an official release on SIPREC, the winners will also get the chance to release their own track on all the biggest download portals like Beatport, iTunes, Spotify, Dance-Tunes, Juno and the list goes on and on… As you can read your release will be covered digitally worldwide.

What can you win?

Winners chosen will receive exclusive SIPREC merchandise along with their track being released on their label as an official remixer and with their own release.

You better act fast if you want to turn on the judges, as submissions open March 8th and close March 28th.

Ten selected remixers will be announced on Maroy’s Housepressure podcast show on April 1st! (Yeah, no joke ) Two (2) final winners will be announced on April 15^th, again on Maroy’s own podcast show “Housepressure” which airs on Sunday night from 20:00h GMT+1 on EclecticRadio.

Who is SIPREC?

‘Strangers in Paradise’ is a fresh new independent record label, dedicated to bring quality electronic dancemusic. SIPREC’s aim is to support and market all those new passionate, talented producers and established artists in the world of dance music.

Who is James Stefano?

James Stefano’s debut EP, which SIPREC distributed for free is already being downloaded more than 5.000 times and the counter doesn’t stop counting. His EP contains tracks like Love and Dance Energy. He even gives you his bootleg-versions of Tiesto & Hardwell’s ZERO76 and Basto’s “Again and Again”.

Last but not least an incredible collaboration with 2 brothers on the 4th floor frontman D-Rock on a remake of Eurythmics “Sweet Dreams”.

Who is Maroy?

Maroy is well known for his energetic, sexy and hypnotic sets, playing the best of house music and deep techy sounds.

His first release on SIPREC, “Better Living” featuring Trarius, was remixed by the likes of the one and only multi-million selling artist Ron Carroll.

Also with his latest release “All Good” he surprised us with the amazing and diverse range of flavoured sunny beats and vibes featuring top notch vocalist Patrick Chappell.

What do you need to do to enter the competition?

We are looking for a talented producer/remixer/marketeer/creative mind, that has the ability to not only create great music, but to be a smart marketing mind and a creative mind as well. Nowadays anybody can open up audio production software on a computer and create a track. We are not looking for the next DJ/Producer who’s capable of doing just that, but we are looking for the artist who knows what it takes to become bigger in a scene full of stars and wannabe’s…

So that’s why we want to you to create a remix, make a video out of it and upload your track to YouTube. You can download the HD size image you need to put in the video here. If you don’t know how to make a video, then we suggest to ask your friends how to do it or, ofcourse, Google it.

Do this:

> Download the audio parts of the track (stems) and YouTube HD image for your video (March 23rd: link updated and working again!)

> Create the HOTTEST remix ever and make a video out of it, with the included HD image

> Upload the video to YouTube

> Put the YouTube link in an email and send it to info@siprec.com, put “JAMES STEFANO REMIX CONTEST” in the subject line!

Strangers in paradise (SIPREC) Terms & Conditions

1. The competition will be held from March 8^th, 2012 through March 28^th, 2012. The competition closes at midnight GMT+1 on March 28^th, 2012.
2. All entries must be received by midnight GMT+1 on the March 28^th, 2012. Remixes received after this deadline will be declined. No responsibility can be accepted by us for entries not received, in any way.
3. The remix needs to be uploaded via YouTube with the artwork provided via our download package. The youtube link of the remix needs to be emailed to info@siprec.com, along with the remixer’s complete information. (Full name, Address, Country and Age)’
4. All winners will be selected after the closing date at the discretion of SIPREC, whose decision is final. The winners will be notified by email. All parts made available to download, and all parts downloaded remain the property of SIPREC.
5. SIPREC’s decision is final and no correspondence will be entered into.
6. The winner names may be published on EclecticRadio.nl and Siprec.com after the closing date of the competition.
7. SIPREC and EclecticRadio reserve the right to cancel or amend the terms of this competition at anytime without prior notice.
8. Prize is subject to final selection. In the event of unforeseen circumstances, SIPREC retains the right to offer an alternative prize.
