Coachella, the big festival in the USA which is now held over 2 consecutive weekends (just like UMF yes, indeed) and the first weekend of this sunny festival offered amazing performances brought to thousands of Coachellans by an outstanding line-up.

De wereldwijd gelauwerde DJ en producer in elektronische dansmuziek Ferry Corsten, al meer dan 21 jaar actief en gerespecteerd, opende zijn FULL ON 2013 seizoen op spectaculaire wijze met een succesvolle kick off in Jakarta (Indonesië) op 5 april. Een teken dat er bijzondere dingen staan te gebeuren met het vooruitstrevende “back-to-back” concept met artiesten uit verschillende muziekgenres. Met het heersen over één continent wordt geen genoegen genomen dus heeft Ferry Corsten, samen met zijn persoonlijk uitgekozen team van muzikale collega’s, de ambitie om de wereld in te pakken met de FULL ON 2013 World Tour.

Met grote namen uit de EDM scene zoals onder andere ATB, Bassjackers, Tritonal en Cosmic Gate zal Ferry Corsten in mei de FULL ON tour in de Verenigde Staten aanvangen. Op 11 mei opent Corsten de tour in Amerika in de EchoStage in Washington DC met Tritonal en Bassjackers, waar deze splinternieuwe show Corsten’s triomfantelijke terugkeer zal zijn in deze locatie met een vers keurkorps van top artiesten. Andere artiesten die op de diverse  FULL ON shows hun kunsten gaan vertonen zijn de aanstormende talenten W&W, samen met onder andere Ronski Speed, Solarstone, Shogun, Orjan Nilssen, John O’Callaghan, Sied van Riel, Aly & Fila en Rudee.

Op 17 mei brengt Ferry Corsten FULL ON naar de Exchange nachtclub in Los Angeles en deze keer zal niemand minder dan Bassjackers & Audien het Ferry Corsten team assisteren met de slag tegen de middelmaat. De hedendaagse muziekfans zijn kritischer dan ooit en nemen geen genoegen met minder dan een adembenemende show; de lat ligt hoog. Alleen het allerbeste is nog goed genoeg in de live entertainmentindustrie en de spectaculaire FULL ON show zal zich dan ook onderscheiden van de rest om de trouwe schare van fans niet te kort te doen.

Op 19 mei zal het FULL ON circus neerstrijken in het Kool Haus in Toronto (Canada) waar de grondtroepen voor deze show bestaan uit Tritonal en Bassjackers. Elke support act op de FULL ON shows zijn nauwkeurig gekozen door Corsten en afgestemd op de stad en de locatie waar de show gegeven zal worden. Uiteraard staat Corsten zelf ook in het middelpunt op elke individuele show.

In juli zal FULL ON acte de préséance geven op één van de beste festivals wereldwijd, Tomorrowland in België, waar FULL ON op hun eigen FULL ON stage de internationale fans een onvergetelijke show zullen bezorgen. Hierna zal FULL ON in totaal tien shows programmeren op Ibiza, de zomerse speeltuin van Europese, maar ook steeds meer Amerikaanse muziekliefhebbers die op zoek zijn de naar de minder commerciële en serieuzere kant van elektronische dansmuziek.

FULL ON is zeker geen standaard dance evenement. De FULL ON show biedt een overweldigende belevenis dankzij de unieke combinatie van house, trance en electro, de spetterende visuals en de dynamiek van de altijd verassende back-to-back sets. FULL ON is in 2007 van start gegaan in Ahoy’ Rotterdam en heeft zich sindsdien ontwikkeld tot een toonaangevend concept. De show heeft inmiddels een keur aan grote steden aangedaan, waar de locaties steevast uitverkocht waren en waar artiesten als Sander van Doorn, Fedde Le Grand, Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Chicane, Mat Zo, Michael Woods en vele andere te bewonderen waren. Cream Ibiza returns to superclub Amnesia with a roster of world-class artists set amongst some of the best production on the planet.

As one of Ibiza’s longest running and most successful parties, the line-up for this year’s season doesn’t disappoint with Cream’s heavyweight headliners Calvin Harris, Above & Beyond, Paul Van Dyk and Laidback Luke returning for the season to make Cream Ibiza the destination for clubbers on the island.

The Main Room’s ice cannons will be blasting to the sounds of one of the biggest electronic acts in the world, Above & Beyond who are back for six dates across the season. If that wasn’t enough, long-serving Cream Ibiza headliner Paul van Dyk will be returning for eight dates this summer.

Cream are also very excited to announce that the man that started it all in Ibiza, Paul Oakenfold will be taking to the Main Room decks for this year’s Opening Party. We can’t wait to see what he has in store for this very special show.

Following the success of their performances last season, we welcome back Eddie Halliwell, Gareth Emery, John O’Callaghan, Mat Zo, Giuseppe Ottaviani, Gareth Wyn and Ben Gold to do what they do best, make you wish the party would never end.

Other new faces for this season include Russian sensation Arty whose track ‘Together We Are’ can be heard in every club at the moment plus Anjuna’s Norin & Rad and BBC Radio 1’s Jordan Suckley.

The Mixmag terrace is famed for its epic soundsystem and incredible laser lightshow so it was only fair that Cream sourced a roster of incredible artists to match. This year global superstar Calvin Harris will take to the decks for 8 dates across the season whilst Laidback Luke brings his SuperYou&Me party for 4 dates.

Along with our incredible headliners we’re also bring a host of fresh faces from across the globe to the Mixmag Terrace including Swedish phenomenon Alesso and Dutch house stars Nicky Romero and Hardwell. If that wasn’t enough the man of a ‘Million Voices’ Otto Knows makes his Cream Ibiza debut along with Moda’s Tom Staar.

Cream are also pleased to announce that some of our favourite acts will be returning to the Mixmag Terrace including Dirty South, fresh off the back of his brand new album ‘Speed of Life’, after a year hiatus from Cream Ibiza we can’t wait to see him back behind the decks. Cream Ibiza launches the season on Thursday 13^th June at Amnesia, San Rafael, and will host the closing party on Thursday 19^th September.

3LAU, what a story is that. This producer and DJ has always been interested in music, as we could read from his bio, but the way he rose to the status he currently is in is quite a unique story. He started doing mashups and bootlegs mainly ‘because others just weren’t good enough’ and that made him go viral within a year. Awesome accomplishment and a sign that the EDM scene always welcomes new, talented individuals that are breathing fresh air into this scene!
