Erick Morillo & Eddie Thoneick Feat. Skin – If This Ain’t Love Released 14th Febuary 2012

With legendary Skunk Anansie singer Skin taking control of the vocal line, and the undisputable touch of label boss Erick Morillo and regular partner in crime Eddie Thoneick on production duty, Subliminal’s springtime big hitter ‘If This Ain’t Love’ receives its official release – rather appropriately – on Valentine’s Day.

A heady combination of dance floor dynamite and raunchy, sex infused rock, the track continues the winning pairing of Morillo and Thoneick, whose previous collaborations ‘Live Your Life’ and ‘Stronger’ dominated global airwaves and taste-maker charts across 2010 and 2011.

From the outset, ‘If This Ain’t Love’ is in a class of its own. The unmistakable voice of Skin provides an almost ethereal, euphoric dynamic against Morillo and Thoneick’s pumping house set-up. Soaring across thundering guitar riffs and uplifting piano chords, the singer’s emotive performance lifts the track higher and higher as the beats caress the bass lines underneath her.

Steve Aoki talks Dim Mak’s 2012 albums

We may only be a few weeks into 2012, but Steve Aoki’s label Dim Mak hasn’t wasted any time signing a bunch of big artists for the new year.

ITM spoke to the Los Angeles DJ yesterday and was he happy to report that there’s no shortage of projects in the pipeline for Dim Mak. First up? “We’ve signed our first dubstep artist Datsik, which I’m thrilled about,” Aoki told inthemix. Datsik is set to release his debut album, titled Vitamin D, on the label sometime this year – and the release comes complete with collaborations from none other than self-proclaimed dubstep innovator Jonathan Davis of Korn, as well as an inclusion from psy-trance duo Infected Mushroom.

Hardwell announces North America Tour February 2012!

One of Holland’s best export products of this moment has to be mister Hardwell. He’s doing absolutely fabulous and with another brand new release he just dropped this week we are sure that his popularity overseas only continues to grow. His massive fanbase has been screaming for it, and to answer the call Hardwell has planned a North America Tour in the month February!

So if you’re in that continent we can only advice you to go and see a show – it’s going to be awesome!
